I sold out of kitchen towels last week during Los Angeles Aqueduct Day so
I printed another batch today. See you tomorrow!
I’ve been at Mastodon Mesa for the last two weeks celebrating Los Angeles Aqueduct Day. If you haven’t had a chance to visit our booth at the Melrose Trading Post yet, view the official website to get a glimpse of the project.
Finally had a chance to see MADE IN LA (the first large-scale biennial survey of the work of Los Angeles based artists) at the Hammer. Some of the highlights of the show were: Alex Olson, Zach Harris, Channa Horwitz, Brian Sharp, Cody Trepte, and Analia Saban.

Feels good to actually feel like I’m apart of this school.
Goal for next year: have more time to go to school events.
The CalArts Print fair finally happened this past Sunday, it has been something that has been in the works since last summer. I was really passionate about executing an event that crossed all programs this year at CalArts. I felt as if there was a void that needed to be filled. With that said, it’s taken up the majority of my time and energy these last few weeks.
Thank you to everyone who came down!

And don’t forget to come out to the first annual CalArts Print Fair this Sunday at 11am.
I’ve spent the last week getting prepared for USC’s Shelf Life 2 tomorrow. I’ve made new zines, screen prints, businesscards, and postcards. Come to my table tomorrow afternoon to see it all.
GOOD Magazine is excited to launch our economy-themed issue, BEG, BORROW, OR STEAL, hitting newsstands at the end of February. In this issue, we take a close-up look at the way entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and workers are hustling their way through the economic downturn, from weed farmers in Humboldt County to gamblers in Laos.
To celebrate the launch, join us for a night of drinking, mingling, and dancing, Wednesday, February 29 from 9 PM – 2 AM at Broadway Bar in downtown LA. Dublab DJ Sweatson Klank (AKA Take) will be on the turntables. First 50 people in the door get a free copy of the new issue.
Here is a photo of our booth at LA Zine Fest incase you wanted to see it. Looking forward to USC Shelf Life 2 next month.
